Hi

I have just bought a 1983 ford escort mk3 ghia 5 door in sunburst red.

It needs restoration.

There are a few holes etc where rust has taken hold,

The outer sill lips are all bent from incredibaly bad trolley jack positioning

and will need cutting out and replacing,

Iam currently tidying up the wiring which is a little messy from some of the previous 9 owners,

It was originally an automatic and was converted some time in the past. The clutch pedal bite is very high i do not think it has a ratchet mechanism fitted.

The Starter motor wiring is half missing

It runs rough
