They are very slightly shorter too.
With reagards to the sump - depends where the Crossmember sits. You may be able to get away with a 1.8 -litre Zetec sump which is near to a front bowl and a 2.0-litre sump is the near to a rear bowl.
Either can be modified to suit if there's not much work, otherwise fork out on a proper RWD item. Make engine mounts from a chassi mount kit and water rail totally depends on clearance at the back of the head.
Clutch and flwheel - use a 1800 Zetec flywheel re-drilled to take a standard Pinto clutch.
Spigot bearing is normal Ford item, about £5 and fits straight in.
Hmm I wonder how much shorter they actually are? As I really don;t want to be making another prop up.. Do they mount in a simliar fashion to the T5?
I have no cross member as the engine mounts are part of the chassis so I have no resrication what so ever re sump clearences
What's wrong with the 2.0 ltr flywheel? can that not be re-drilled for a pinto clutch? (tbh it doesn't really matter what flywheel I use as I haven't got one atm, engine is from a 2.0 ltr Auto).
Chassis mount kit? Is that the retro ford ones?
Sorry for all the questions, really appreciate the help.
Thanks
