Are the type 9's the same length/size do you know?

Are all those parts needed though? That's more what I was trying to find out? I know the flywheel/clutch will but is the sump needed?

Type 9s are much smaller and cheaper mate

They are very slightly shorter too.

With reagards to the sump - depends where the Crossmember sits. You may be able to get away with a 1.8 -litre Zetec sump which is near to a front bowl and a 2.0-litre sump is the near to a rear bowl.

Either can be modified to suit if there's not much work, otherwise fork out on a proper RWD item. Make engine mounts from a chassi mount kit and water rail totally depends on clearance at the back of the head.

Clutch and flwheel - use a 1800 Zetec flywheel re-drilled to take a standard Pinto clutch.

Spigot bearing is normal Ford item, about £5 and fits straight in.
