Zetec RWD conversion
Hi pf,
I am after some advise on this one..
I am wanting to put a 2.0ltr silver top zetec into a kit car mated to a t5 box..
So far I've found out that ill be needing the following
Water pump (apparently they turn the wrong way)
Sump? (not 100% sure I need to change this as I have no cross members etc)
Engine mounts
Water hose kit? (Again space isn't really that tight so not sure if this is needed)
Flywheel
Clutch
Spigot bearing
I am wanting to loose the efi and run bike carbs/twin 40's.
so for this i think I'm going to need the following
Manifold
Carbs
And some way of controlling the ignition?
Is there anything else ill need? As I have bought a complete mk1 Mondeo for the engine so have all of its related parts that run the engine. Can I use the stock ecu in some way to control ignition? Can I keep the coil pack, tps, cps?
Sorry for all the questions. Hopefully some of you guys have done it and can advise.
