Can anyone tell me if the Escort van 1.4 75 (X Reg) has an intrusive or non intrusive engine. My timing belt snapped & I have since replaced it. Will it have damaged the valves/pistons etc? The van won't start but it sounds ok (no strange noises) when I've cranked it. Only tried to start it twice, in short bursts. in advance for replies. Cheers!
