Here's one.

I was washing the car after a trip to southend last night and thinking about all the stuff that went on while we were freezing on the seafront.

There's been a lot of talk about "freedom of speech", and I think the meaning has been twisted over time.

The way I see it (my opinion), is that freedom of speech means you are allowed to say what you want, for example, I should be allowed to criticise your work (not that I have any reason to) and not see my post deleted, or my user account banned, but an adult conversation should be allowed to take place - leading to agreement to agree or disagree (does that make sense ?).

That's what I see being the main difference between PF and others that shall remain nameless... we can talk about almost everything.

However, the impression I get, is that freedom of speech here is interpreted as anything goes, slagging off, being impolite, swearing and all . That I don't get at all, this is not freedom of speech, it's plain lack of respect for others.

So should the swear filters be enabled to keep the tone of posts at a level where common language is used, not offensive wording. The english language is rich enough for all to express themselves.

Remember: Our freedom stops where other's start.
