U need a 150 or 180 amp welder for best results
gas less r crap ,
Try get 1 mm wire lead un gun , miles better than 0.8 mm as this tends 2 snag inside lead from welder 2 tip .
Use argon gas not co2 in an ideal situation .. u'll get a better weld as argon is inert ( argo shield light or universal will do for mild steel weldin )

Better 2 go for the slightly bigger amps as they r better for fine tuning wen welding , any thing smaller un welder will b set on flat out most of the time , u dunna want 2 end up with bird crap welding sittin on the 2 pieces of metal ur tryin 2 fuse 2gether , un finding u aint got no more power 2 do the job .....
