Mine worked fine yesterday when I fired her up.

You should have a main battery cable, a bridging harness from stater to alternator on the same terminal as the main battery cable (13mm nut) and then a small exciter wire from the ignition switch on either a spade terminal or a ring terminal to a stud on the starter (10mm).

If you're on a spade terminal you'll have to swap it for an ring terminal/eyelet (6mm internal diameter)
