well al being well im having a alarm fitted this week by an auto electrian so while he is there ill get him to look into it, as he'll proberly know where to look for the fault

i do think it is an electrical fault cos the engine temp goes to red and the battery light stay on when you start the engine, when you rev it the battery light goes off and temp guage goes down.
also the light of the clock is intermitant as well.
we'll wait and see what he says
Did anyone fine out what the problem was mine does exactly the same, somebody has fitted a switch to the live on the battery to the altinator when u flick it on then off the light goes off but id rather have it fixes properly
