yes it used to be like that dave, but apparently when a MOT tester puts the reg in it will tell him that the vehicle is fitted with ABS (on vosa) that's why now these cars will fail a MOT. the rules only changed last month. looks like our fords are going to end up being trailer cars.
Bud who told you this?? Reason I ask my saph had ABS previous owner removed it and I had it mot'd last year and last month with no probs and my mot tester is a bastard at picking stuck especially on old cars and passed fine, only reason I use him is my kids go in my car so if anything was wrong i'd rather know!
