If tar spotting is bad spray the tardis on and let it dwell and bleed for a few minutes, no more than five as it's potent stuff, then use a microfibre with some tardis on it and wipe over to remove the tar. Then rinse thoroughly!

With iron x I spray on and leave to dwell until it's bleeding and then agitate with a detailing brush before rinsing off.
