i might have been mis-informed but I'm sure I'd heard if the cops caught you using red they could say that you owed the duty you'd avoided for however many miles were on the clock regardless of whether that was the first load of red you'd put in or not so if you have 100K+ miles on your van (and lets face it many have done that and more) you faced a potentially huge fine - is this just bollox?
