altho the 4i wouold probably work out cheaper...

whatever you get, make sure its got an LSD the XR4i dont but you can easily source a 4x4 rear beam off an XR4x4 or something for PENNIES (get a whole car for 50quid) and thats got rear discs n the LSD on it.

the engines, whilst lovely n torquey low down, really dont have much power... theyre about the same in a str8 line as a standard RST (well they a bit quicker but not much) and standard RSTs are SLOOOOOW

good thing about the 4i is that its a sierra, n you already know a lot about/are used to sierras

also re: my track antics, you really have to drive like a complete twat to get it THAT sideways at those speeds... even in the wet its only just got enough power to spin em in 1st (whilst on the move obviously, dump the clutch n itll light em up in 2nd in the dry) but then i do have good tyres on mine...
