If itīs any help, I did the passager seat today. I can tell you that the blue and the green plug are the seat heater. And the white plug under the seat itself is connection between the upper and the lower heat pads. I discovered that one wire was broken where itīs connected the the thin (blue)heat pads wires. I canīt remember exact the colors but power to the heat pads is fed from the seat control unit (inside the seat) via the read wire. There it goes through both of the heat pads and to the white plug up in the upper part of the seat. *Please note* Iīm not 100% sure but I belive that itīs black/green wire. The other two wires are heat sensor for the control unit (if you were wondering). I teared the pad apart while looking for the breakage....

So, with thease information you could at least mesure if the wires to the pads or the pads are ok. Keep in mind that they have shorted wires in some cases. If you mesure from red in the control unit to black/green in the white plug you should read at least more than 1ohm, I think around two. I forgot to mesure the upper pads, but it should be something like. Now when Iīm writing this, I wonder if you shouldnīt be able to mesure volt at the black/green in the white plug. Then you donīt need to tear the seat apart, but it seems that almoust every fault around here is in the cabling from the plug under the seat and up the the heating pads.

I find it very disapointing the Ford didnīt recall thease seats because it is quite obious that the wires are not made for lying there under. The isolation is too hard and breaks easily in cold weather. Again......shame on them
