I am going to fab my own chassis mounts for my engine. What thickness steel for them? I have both 2mm & 3mm in stock. The 3mm looks way too heavy looking at all the pics I've found on the net. I think 2mm is more than adequate.

I will be making the engine plates a bit heavier and I will be using cut down lower Cossie arms for the engine mount arms.

Its just the thickness for the brackets that weld to the chassis rails I'm after.
