the td pump will have a metal cover over the stop solenoide & is a pain to remove, ide try get this off while the engine is out. ive even taken pumps off in the past just to get this shield off. you can either fit a new stop solenoide with no pats or just live up the original one in the pump

i fancy the 2.2 turbo lump in my van how much hassle would that be
