I'd there any benifit fitting a filter inside a breather can ?

I want to return to sump so thinking a filter would be a good idea but then I'm wondering if its pointless ?

Inside the catch can gets brown gunk inside so thinking filter might help reduce but then is it still crap entering the sump

This will be for track use where the car burns alot of oil

It's fine on the road though
