It's just the cost really. But i would rather do it all properly first time. But this gearbox change is about £2000 to do at this rate! £600 for sachs clutch, new flywheel £175, custom driveshafts (not sleeved) £600, cables & shifter £100, box £300.

I could save on the shafts if I cut, sleeve and weld but I don't like the idea of them possibly breaking and smashing a hole in the side of the gearbox lol
