I'm starting to re shell my 4x4 in to a 2wd, so in doing so I'm intending to give the engine a refresh. Needs wrc head gasket and I have a short stud and nut kit for it. Should I change water and oil pump, full gasket set, sensors and belts at the same time? Gona have the head polished and have new big and little end bearings with a crank polish and piston rings.
Thing is I haven't got a clue on what to expect on cost and do I need all the parts changing on what is a good engine that just needs a head gasket.
