Can anyone please tell me which 6 speed boxes are compatible with the N7BA engine? My current box is 6S7R 7002 EB. Ive been searching for a box,& noticed loads that are FMBA,QXBA etc. Just need to know which will fit,or are they all interchangeable? Cheers
ps Arnold Clark in Dundee had my box apart on floor & couldnt find the problem lol. Everything apart from gearbox is new so MUST be box (logic?). Just going to bite the bullet & buy another 2nd hander now as some o you advised,as AC dont seem to know their arses from their elbows. (AND they wanted to charge me nearly 300 just to say "we dont know whats wrong!".(and that was just for removing/inspecting it,then they wanted another £200 odd to put it back. I went apesh*t,& complained.So manager Graeme Taylor (cheeky git),phoned up & said as I complained,there was no charge,& I'd be better taking it to a 'real' mechanic lol. Ahhh ford eh
