i actually rate these vans as i have owned a couple and work on plenty if you ignore the service interval and service them every 10k tops they last a hell of a lot longer, gearboxes are not that bad ive done worse! and i find the selectors actually go from water ingress into the box through the breather at the top, the scuttle panel leaks onto them, 5 minutes spent making a shield for the top of the box helps prevent it
