I seriously hope your gearbox anint gonna see -73 or 180 degrees so it should be just fine!!

and copper slip cant have a low mwlting point or it wouldnt be much use on brakes would it That said you are not supposed to use it for clutches etc.

Just bang the stuff on you have got but dont put too much on - you dont want it all over the friction plate do you?
