The ka doesnt have the best brakes in the world.
Puma 1.7, is a good upgrade, zetec-s/sportka also bolt on.
I ran ST170 discs and calipers on my sportka and it stopped rather well!
Can't afford other brakes ATM!
Trouble is we've had 2 other ka's before this, a 2002 and a 1998 and neither of them had brakes as bad as this one!?
I took the calipers off to check the pads and they're all good except they were a bit stiff in the calipers so I cleaned them up and re-assembled and they do seem a bit better again. We'll see what happens in a couple of weeks at the mot!?
