As above, i've done cars on Vipec 44/88 & Plug 'n' Play.
The flexibility and interface of it is brilliant. One of the cars i've done is an R53 BMW Mini with a 1.7 litre engine that's now making over 500bhp. We've used every single analogue and digital input on the Vipec for things like individual cylinder EGT etc. and with the on board logging can see exactly what's been going on.
We ran methanol injection at one point and had the Vipec doing on the fly map switching depending on the meth flow rate. We've also reconfigured the drive by wire throttle through the Vipec to give the car the best chance of traction!
Very capable ECU - gets my vote
