I have a 1989 Van diemen multisport built specifically for a race series in the late 80s fitted with a CVH 1.6 MFI engine

The engine is loacted in the rear of the car canted forward to lower the centre of gravity

The engine is semi dry sumped

Car weights about 700Kg with driver

Can any one guide me to what engine it is from as we have no manuals etc to follow and have no is idea how the fuel system works etc
some of the electrical sensors are in place but apart from oil pressure , temp and revs we do not require anything else

We only need the engine section of possible the haynes manual but which one
