who's done one? are they any good, what/where do you end up when its completed?

Hours: 37 per week
Qualifications: 4 GCSES(A-C), NVQ2 (or Equivalent)
Salary: £4.769 per hour to start
Age: 16 to 25
Details: Ford, Bridgend are recruiting for their engineering apprenticeship for September 2005 start. There are apprenticeships in two different trades: Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance - working in a manufacturing environment - maintaining
And repairing the machinery that is used in manufacturing, the first two years of the apprenticeship is based in a Bridgend Training Centre and year's three and four are spent in the modern manufacturing plant. You will need to have gained or hope to achieve grade 'C' or above in Math’s, English and Double Science. Successful completion of the apprenticeship leads to the awards NVQ3 and HNC and further study possible.
