Default 1989 Ford Orion 1.4GL (71k miles) SOLD!!!

My Orion is now surplus to requirements after picking up a newer diesel Ford for 2nd car duties. This is the GL so has electric and heated front mirrors, electric front windows, sunroof etc.

This has been a fantastic little car in the 2 yrs i've owned it, being the most reliable car i've owned! Generally very tidy considering it's age with a few nice original touches, this will make a good future classic as it is or a good project car for modifying. I bought the car with no previous history, just the current MOT and logbook. It was owned by an old boy who died and his nephew was left to sell the car and this was the only paperwork he could find. I have had it professionally serviced and kept all invoices in my ownership. Very economical and cheap to run knocking on the doors of 40mpg and only costing £140 tax a year!

Tax March '13
MOT July '13

71k miles (was 49k when i bought it)

Original Ford cassette stereo with Keycode (pic shows cd player atm)
Original rubber mats in good condition
Original petrol cap lock using same key

Recently had the following:

New rear shoes and cylinders on rear
4 new Hankook tyres
New exhaust from end of downpipe back

Bad Bits:

Bodywork - Bonnet lacquer is peeling (requires repainting at some point and reason for low price, if i get bonnet done i'd advertise for £750!)
- Small ding on n/s front wing (can see in pics)
- Small rust bubble on o/s rear door (at bottom and doesn't really notice)
- General scuffs (the old boy had some door edge protectors fitted which were loose and scuffed paint away on doors, a few marks here and there)
- Rear bumper cracked in usual places

Clutch judder (has got no worse since i've owned it and i drive around it now, planned to change clutch at next service if i kept the car)

Interior - Instrument cluster peeling (not really noticeable)
- Temp gauge not rising (haven't worried about it yet as the fans cut in and out as they should but could be due to peeling above)
- Passenger side dash vent adjust broken (you can just make out from pics the roller has been pushed in)

I've tried to be as honest as possible, any questions just ask.

Located just outside Littlehampton, West Sussex
