Met up with some friends at the on Friday evening *and popped next door for a cheeky Tex-Mex burger at Buddies American Diner

Had a mixed day that started off with a leaking oil return pipe before I'd even got back from noise testing*

A big hammer and a new gasket fixed it, and it was out on track we go..

only for it to blow some coolant out the header tank

Checked level and then Nash took out Jonny for a few laps...great to see it spiriting flames out as it went past the pits

However....

One split heater hose later

By now I was getting pissed off, but Loader came to the rescue with a spare hose(in yellow!) from his van

Then after checking everything over(so I thought) it was back out with the R888s on.....

But I'd forgot to tighten the header tank cap and had another coolant excursion!

Finally got it sorted and got a decent number of laps in..

Ended the day a little early when it spat the power steering belt off in front of Luke , so stuck it on trailer and left for home.

Got home eventually at 2300 after dropping car in storage.*
