My mrs car and the daily driver 2.0 auto w reg mondeo auto has just broke! The gearbox has given up at 103000 miles!

Now we all know the mondeo auto gearboxs are shite!

But I am now looking for a new car and thinking focus mk 2.... probably 05 or 06 What are these boxes like? Are they reliable?
