Recently I've went a bit mad, my mate rab has set up on his own so we've made a start on the engine bay
Got a load off stuff from auto specialists for my birthday/Xmas
My birthday presides

And a fuse box cover I treated myself to with my birthday dosh

So we got busy last week to get it ready for the rm bodywork open day so rab could show off some of his talent
1st thing was to mark up the hinges and remove the bonnet

Then we offered up the under bonnet show plate kit, 14 pieces

And left to bond overnight.......

Flipped it over and got the bonnet vents masked up to have the louvres painted, not the whole vent

And the vents painted, absolutely delighted with the finished result

Then started to rip out the rest of the engine plastics that were to be painted inc... Slam panel, air intake, airbox, battery cover, fuse box, timing casing, cam cover, crossover pipe, the headlight washer covers and every nut and bolt cleaned scotched and blown over ...........
