Only reason I was going to go for MT75 and not type 9 was because the MT75 surly has to be alot lighter, and it would work better with the Sierra rear diff, that and its a much newer box, can handle more power and I've heard is abit smoother?
as for the Sierra rear end, my rear axle has seen better days and its mega £'s compaired to a sierra rear end, was thinking the independant rear would count for something as well...
Making it worth using an atlas would mean having to fit four link and all sorts, after looking into it before when I was planning on a V8 and the amount of work and money seems more hassle than its worth when it comes to atchally getting it to handle and killing tramp/slap
After going to the effort of fitting four link and a watts linkage, alot of people still say their having problems, I was thinking it would be far easier to draw away from a live rear end and save myself all that time trying to correct live rear end isues. Save £'s and kill all the isues in one go
£150 for a sierra rear end that already has disc brakes vs new halfshafts, bearings, diff, seals, leaf springs, dampers, bushes, four link kit, watts linkage and loosing my rear seats totally.
