I don't know what he used but it's a mate of his who was meant to try again and never came back.

He said the injectors were exactly the same as each other but the one he fitted had a longer thread and no seal on it.

My car is a 52 plate and the one he replaced came off an 03 plate.

If the injector is ok I can just take it to a proper garage to get it programmed otherwise I'd rather change the injector myself first.
