I keep reading about 50+mpg. My st TDCI is averaging around 34mpg at this time. OK it is bluefinned, and it goes very well, but mpg is low. I have had 43+mpg up to, and back from Scotland, driving at 85 mph most of the time. Does it pay to replace EGR valve or is just cleaning the existing one the way to go?. What year is it? If it has a Euro 3 engine you can just blank the EGR off and not get any Engine management lights.
