Rain stops play today, a bit of what I've been doing this morning. I'll continue tomorrow when my mate can give me a hand.


Got up nice and early to start work on swapping the hub over. Thought it'd be easy, I was wrong.


Went to undo the track rod end nut and the bit we hammered in snapped in half




Unfortunately I wasn't thinking straight and instead of loosening the track rod end whilst it was still bolted to the hub, I sawed through the thread instead to get it off the hub... now it's being a pain to get that nut undone.





Used the new toy/tool to get the hub off... it was a lot of effort!!





Then knocked the old CV joint off and filled the new one with grease








That's all for now, as once I got that done it started monsoon-ing, so I chucked a binbag over the axle, dragged all the tools inside and came in for some food.
