What starter motor are you using as when I converted my van to a turbo I used the original diesal starter motor and it took ages to start used to back fire then start
Took me ages to find out
But the diesal starter works on a pulse and this was interfering with the cps signal
I fitted a old fiesta starter I had and it was fine
