The mk3 Mondeo TDDI was made between 2000 (1999) and 2002, the one imported to the UK was 115 PS (113bhp) it has a VP44 pump mounted on the engine and a lift pump on the tank, the one on the tank costs £100 for a pattern one, and the VPP44 costs about £700 for a refurb one (secondhand ones can be picked up cheapoer online )
the injectors are mechanical, so are not "coded" the lift pump is not coded the VP44 has to be coded to the ECU new/ refurb ones are "blank" and code themselves to the ECU, secondhand ones are not, it is easier to buy one with a matching ECU
There was a cheaper, 90ps version of the TDDI, it used a different mainpump (vp38?) and no lift pump - it was sold in Europe and Ireland
there is a sticker on on the left of the engine the cam cover it should say "TDDI 115" or something like that
the TDDI is very reliable and can do astronomical milages (300k+) just keep changing the oil/ clutch/ DMF
Google can be wrong (might just be a load of muppets talking garbage)
tell me what symptoms you are having
Is your EGR blanked (solid plate)?
