Go for it, I'm going to put it on my saff when it's finished just for a buzz now and then.
Fitted a wizards of nos kit to my 24v xr4i, power went from 192hp to 248hp with 75hp jets. It feels a lot more than that on the road as the 24v is a lazy old lump so the nos gives it the boot up the rear it needs! With the nos over a distance of a mile it's on par with a e46 m3 which ain't bad for a car built for under a £1000 including the gas kit.
