This sounds like the problem, when I try to fire the engine nothing at all happens, the starter motor doesnt even click. With jump leads it made no difference. It started at tea time but I tried it again at 2000 and the problem was back. This time I bump started it on a hill in 3rd gear and it started up. I then drove up and down the street for 5 minutes and it runs fine. I turn it off and it will start again no problem until I let it cool down then it returns to the original problem.... I'm gonna have to take it to the garage tomorrow as I wouldnt even know where to start looking for the starter motor, never mind have the ability to whipp it out! I wish I would have done some sort of mechanical work back in my colledge days.
