Thanks for the replies, I will post on the other board as well. It's a strange one, not sure weather to try jump leads or a jump start?

....Thinking back, last night I got some stuff out of the boot of my car. I used the button on the key to unlock just the boot. I closed the boot without pressing the button to lock the car, not sure if this could be the cause of a imobiliser problem?
