My wife and I had a long talk the other day with a specialist in Milano. We were concerned about the fact that they have her on Cortisone all the time. He told us that Cortisone has gotten a bad rap because of lazy doctors. They would rather use cortisone than find the real problem. He told us that right now with the problems she has that she needs to be on a small dose of cortisone at all times. He said that the side effects will be minimal and that he will have her checked out every 6 mounths to make sure it's not effecting any of her major organs. We planned on trying to have a child this year but they told us we should hold off one more year so that she could go through some type of therapy that will give her immune system a boost to kick the allergies then they can fight the asthma. My advise to anyone with medical problems is to talk to doctors not the internet. My mother-in-law is alway going on the internet and and trying to find out what's wrong with everyone and she's never right.
