thanks mate, ive had the tinted covers for years now,i like em as it
was a real 80's thing and kind of a period feature.if i can source some clear ones ill yellow film tint them instead though.

if im totally honest here,i wasnt aware id need to retard the dizzy.
you may well have stopped me buggering my engine , massive thankyou

tools came out to play and so did the new exhaust.....but not the red one i bought a fortnight ago
fitted spot on and is so damn shallow its almost the same as the original box. the baffle is riffled and the box seems really well made so im pretty chuffed.
ive cut the old middle section off as it was a complete pain to get on in the first place thanks to the car needing to be way up in the air so the tail end could be cork screwed into place over the rear arms. just the tail pipes to remove now and a 45 degree sweep out the side to drop in.
unbeknown to me until i was told on passion ford, i need an ignition retarder too....how ive got this far amazes me.................
note to self "stick to things you understand in future!!!"
so now im googling like a muppet trying to find out how a micro dynamics retarder ems6 goes on
any advice on this would be a great help. if anyone has one for sale at a small price would be even better
ive also seen that i can get a vacume unit from an early saab but i really dont needs to be getting lost in a retro fit gogle hit and miss mess right now. im way too close to being ready to start new messing around. i need the car up and running now.
heres the new exhaust being fitted, still needs a hanger but thats noty exactly a problem
