Just bought one of these this morning, i always end up with a flat battery when the then escort, now focus is locked and covered away in winter months. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_255205

A couple of questions if anyone can help?
-I've set it up as a permanent install using the terminal connectors and (-) black direct to the chasis earth. However, under "Safety" it says, "During charging, battaries must be placed in a well ventilated area". Would we say it's well venilated with the bonnet down??? (i.e. it's not in the house!)

-If it's set up effectively as a permanent thing, again under "safety", it says, "after charging, disconnect the charger from the supply mains. Then remove the chasis connection and the battery connection". How do we do that if it's earthed and on the (+) terminal???

-And where do you guys store the plug adaptor under the bonnet while using the car as normal???

Cheers.
