I have a nasty rattle from my GSXR SRAD 750 when I back off the throttle, sounds like a rattling from the Cam chain maybe?? Its fairly loud, I can hear it over the engine and exhaust noise and it just sounds wrong?? Hmm. Anybody heard of cam chain failure on these or are they usually noisy? Its a V reg `99 with 12000miles on the clock, when should they be replaced if at all? Im going to book it in for a check up and tune as it runs a bit rich, but wondered if anybody knew of a common problem? I will check the cam chain tensioner too just to be sure, maybe its that.
