the blower motor lives under the scuttle panel, underneath a black placstic cover on top the airbox lives the resistor, there will be 2 wires going to it from memory. i suspect this is at fault. (you have to remove the black cover)

i only know this as ive just changed the whole blower box for a mate that's got one, £15 from the scrappy
