Have recently bought the new focus with ecoboost 1 ltr engine,after only 2500 miles got a strong smell of burning clutch,told there was nothing wrong with it by Ford Dealership, they were told by Ford Technical to wash out bell housing to take away smell,got car back but still strong smell of clutch when exiting the car or opening the bonnet, took it back too Ford who diagnosed blue heat spots on the flywheel, car is still at garage awaiting parts to change out clutch and flywheel. Just wondered has anyone had similar problems with this model.
