Hi Nick, No, i'm here for the long haul. It is my first post, but I have been driving Fords for the last 40 years and this is my 3rd Mondeo. Prior to the Mondeos, I had Sierras, and Cortinas, throw in a Focus Est, a couple of Escorts and a Volvo and that's my potted history. I have also driven any number of Escort & Transit vans (through work). They have always been company cars/vans and this Mondeo is the first one that I have bought myself, I have never had to carry out any repairs/replacements myself so i'm a novice when it comes to mechanics (hence the post). The highlight of my Ford history, was having a Cortina Mk2 1600E from 1970 til 73, best car i've ever driven, apart from a 1hr drive im my mates Lotus Cortina Mk2 that he had set up for rallying.........superb machine!!
