What is the MAX Engine Revs on a 1.6 focus auto the book say just over 6,000 rpm for short time but if I step on it from a roundabout or set of lights it is between 5,000 6,200 rpm

And it will change at about 3,000 - 4,000 rpm If I only step on it a little how can I make it change up before 3,000 and what is the MAX .. Thanks
