I'm fairly sure the E46 330d is 204bhp and similarly with the E39 530d. The early E60 530d engines were 218bhp. Revision in 2005 to 231bhp. E90 330d was 231bhp then in 2009 revised to 245bhp.
335or 535d are way to go couple of mates got them and they are 350bhp and 550 lbs torque with a remap and fly for a diesel
