Lol so you are getting errors, so you blame the Operating System, it's most likely down to something else, what are the errors?

Windows 7 is not bad, well it had to be to replace Vista which was terrible.

Windows 8 is too new at the moment, therefore I won't be installing it yet (despite having a free license to do so!) I am going to wait until bugs have been patched.
