Well the plan was to either build a kitcar or rebuild a car with me dad between now and sept. We've hit a few problems as concearns where the project is going to stay, weve got a double garage but its already filled with both our cars and their down as being garaged on the insurance. I suggested to him that if we buy a second hand car to rebuild we could roll it in and out of the garage when need be.

So the options look like either getting a local lock-up (would more than likely be a bit of a bugger to travel to and transport parts there) or sitting it on the driveway with one of those heated car bubbles:

Anyone know much about getting lock-ups - typical rent amounts? sizes? etc

Anyone know any websites for the car bubbles - prices? sizes? etc

Lastly how long do you recon (for a first project) it would take to completely strip down a car and rebuild it to a resonable standard bearing in mind that i'll be buying the shell as mint as possible - considering ive only got a part time job and my fathers retired?
